Planning your wedding photography: a simple checklist

A wedding moves fast. These are the things worth settling with your photographer a few weeks before, so the day itself can be about the two of you.
- Share the muhurtham time and the full schedule of every event, from the nalangu to the reception.
- Make a list of the family photos you must have, with one cousin who knows everyone to gather people.
- Tell us about rituals that are special to your family, so we are in the right place at the right moment.
- Plan twenty quiet minutes for couple portraits, ideally in soft evening light.
- Check the venue lighting for the reception stage and ask the decorator about the backdrop colours.
- Decide on the album size and the number of pages before the wedding, not after.
- Put the event gallery link and QR code on a few tables so guests can find their photos with a selfie.
